Out of redsn0w beta, the iPhone Dev Team.
Today the iPhone Dev Team finally released a beta version of redsn0w , their official solution to jailbreak iPod touch second generation.
Because the software is still preliminary, it takes the user to run it via command line, but the team has announced that all its functionality is being incorporated into applications with GUIs (graphical user interfaces). In contrast, the current already runs on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
