ITunes 8.2 adds support for iPhone and iPod touch with firmware 3.0 (which should be released next week, during the WWDC '09), and provide accessibility improvements and bug fixes.

You seem to be even laying the groundwork to launch the 3.0 firmware soon. and without the new iPhone then, next week promises.
