The new iPhone 3G models with non-upgraded ROM allows users to run normally the jailbreak. As a result you WILL need a computer to resume operation.

The iDongle is a device that can be very useful in these circumstances, it is a tool independent of the computer that comes with a mini-USB connector on one end and a 30-pin male connector on the other. A little piece of approximate 60 × 30mm uses a 9V battery which is a necessary power to not only boot your iPhone.

The iDongle currently supports 3G iPhone and iPod Touch 2G/3G Models. The developer says the device is still in beta testing and the manufacturing must occur in a short period of time, since the equipment will be able to attract many pre-orders.

The price of the device is still unknown, it is expected that more Reach 30 Euros (approximately £ 70.00). Check the manufacturer's website Click here and let's hope it arrives soon here in Brazil.
