Tutorial Cydia faster and without publicity

Blog Atulo.net person made this tutorial that lets Cydia 70% faster, simply by removing the advertising once and for all. Hence, the packages will load quickly and navigation becomes far more attractive without any doubt. Who does not want you to know this tip is Saurik, which certainly will not like the idea too! cydia_store_jailbreak

Tutorial

Materials needed

  • OpenSSH
  • Program to access the files inside. Eg. ITunnel Suite, WinSCP, etc. ..

Guide

  • Between SSH and find the path Applications / Cydia.app
  • Look for the file "package.js" and make a backup of the same
  • Then click the file and opened the notebook
  • Look for the code you see in the image below

var = package.depiction depiction;
if (null == depiction)
$ (. "Depiction"). Remove ();
else (
$ (. "Description"). Display ("none");
$ ("# Depiction-src). Src (depiction);

What will have to do is add / * at the beginning and * / End
